PPI Event – Review
On 4th December 2013 Creo Medical hosted a Patient and Public Involvement workshop at the Royal Institution. The evening focused on gaining experiences and opinions on current procedures and potential improvements in the treatment of bowel disease.
Attendees were from a range of backgrounds including patients with recent experience of surgery and colonoscopy, cancer support group representatives and medical professionals. After presentations from Creo's Steve Morris and lead clinician Prof. Brian Saunders on the background of the company and the technology being developed, attendees were invited to have their say in small discussion groups.
This was a first PPI event for Creo and the team were delighted with the positive comments and feedback from the oversubscribed event and look forward to further PPI events in 2014.
